Early October 2016 Walk in the Country Side

A nature walk with the Children – October 2nd 2016

Early October 2016 Walk in the Country Side

We had a great walk in the countryside this afternoon. The children enjoyed picking and eating blackberries and collecting conkers and acorns.  It’s a great way to get out in the fresh air and get them (and me) away from a TV or computer screen for a little while. We’re thinking about trying to grow the conkers and acorns in pots with a view to planting out in the countryside at some point.

If you haven’t had a walk with the children yet this autumn then why not give it a go next weekend and challenge them to find Conkers, Acorns and Blackberries.
