Bedruthan Steps is the long sandy beach below the granite stacks that march northward from Carnewas Point — one of the most photographed stretches of the north Cornish coast. The NT manage the clifftop and the steep stone steps down to the beach (closed in winter and after rough weather); the café at Carnewas is the warm-up at the top.

What to expect on a family visit
An hour or two for the cliff walk and café; longer if you tackle the steep steps to the beach. The steps are rough and sometimes closed — check the NT page on the day you visit. The clifftop is free; the car park is paid (free for NT members). Combines with Bedruthan’s neighbouring beaches at Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay for a proper north-coast day.
