Wellgate Shopping Centre & Murraygate

The Wellgate sits a short walk north of the Overgate at the top of the Murraygate, and is the older of Dundee’s two covered malls. The retail mix skews firmly towards value and convenience — a large Home Bargains and B&M, plus Poundland, Iceland, Savers, Pavers and The Works — alongside JD Gyms and Dundee Central Library on the upper floor. A number of units now sit empty, so it is quieter than the Overgate.
