Start Time: 9 a.m – Sunday December 1st 2013

Location:  Bungay (NR35) in the Waveney Valley on the Norfolk Suffolk Border.

Bungay is an old market town with a lovely mix of independent shops, cafés, delicatessen’s and restaurants, I describe it as an inland Southwold.  Each year they have a Christmas Street fair which is really atmospheric. It’s been going since at least the early 90’s when it launched as the Victorian Street Fair.

There will be around 80 traders selling a wide selection of goods with a Christmas theme. This is an excellent early opportunity to buy your Christmas gifts and accessories. Father Christmas will be meeting his young friends in his grotto at the Fisher Theatre.

The South Norfolk Youth Symphonic Band will be performing throughout the day in the centre of the fair. In the early afternoon the Old Glory Molly Men will parade through the street – always a highlight of the event. Food and drink, for all tastes, will be available from a number of stalls.
