Saturday and Sunday is a small, family-led UK blog written by Linda and John Garrould from Norwich, covering family days out, gardening and home cooking. We work with a select number of brands, attractions and agencies each year on partnerships our readers will genuinely care about.
For PRs in a hurry: download our one-page media kit (PDF, 240 KB) — strapline, audience numbers, beat list and contact aliases on a single A4.
Who we hear from
- Tourism boards, heritage sites and visitor attractions
- Garden product brands, seed houses and plant specialists
- Cookware, food and ingredient brands aimed at home cooks
- PR and marketing agencies representing the above
- Fellow UK family bloggers looking to collaborate
What we say yes to
Paid advertising, sponsored posts (always clearly disclosed), gifted product reviews of items we’d genuinely use, occasional press visits, and properly-resourced content collaborations. We’re happy to talk about Awin and similar affiliate programmes, exclusive vouchers for our readers, and seasonal campaigns that line up with our editorial calendar.
What we say no to
Anything off-theme, anything we wouldn’t recommend to a friend, gambling, vaping, anything aimed commercially at children, and any request for “do-follow links” outside a clearly disclosed partnership.
The audience, in numbers
Honest figures, refreshed quarterly. Last updated 6 May 2026 (rolling 28 days).
- Around 2,000 monthly readers, mostly UK, arriving from search and from direct typed visits.
- Where the traffic comes from: ~50% organic search, ~26% direct (returning readers), the rest a mix of referral and social.
- Top categories by share: Food and cookery (≈30%), Family days out (≈18%), with a steady long tail of evergreen gardening, place-based heritage and our BBC Radio 4 books pages.
- Engagement: 32-second average time on page; just over half of visits engage in depth rather than bouncing.
- Social: @Sat_and_Sun on X / Twitter, ~1,100 followers.
- Newsletter: not yet — a 2026 build.
Numbers are GA4 measured-traffic for the rolling 28 days ending 5 May 2026. We’re a small site that punches above its weight in genuine reader engagement; happy to share deeper analytics on request.
